María Teresa & Bella are a mother and daughter team whose passion is baking and cooking. The basis for this cute yet sophisticated bakery were recipes passed down by generations, with the idea of the flavors uniting families - as the tradition in many European cultures.

Their delicious empanadas, milanesas and alfajores are something you cannot miss out on. Especially if it is your first trip to Uruguay, you must stop at their fine bakery in Manantiales, Punta del Este. Tasting their food may not only remind you of your childhood when home-cooked meals were still a thing, but they are a piece of Uruguayan and Argentine history, with recipes our South American grandmothers used to use.
